what's next?

As many of you know, this retreat is the culmination of a yearlong effort to support schools in the central region of New Jersey in creating positive change. Over the past year we have shared our concerns, listened to experts, developed plans, and built a network of critical friends.
While this retreat was the culmination of one project – we know that it is just the beginning the work you will do.
Our hope is that your relationship with one another and with us will not end today. Hopefully, this week has introduced you to ideas and colleagues from other schools with whom you can share ideas and strategies. We believe this network of friends is an important resource that has the potential to impact your success.
Our Capacity Building Team is also hoping to continue our work with you. We would like to follow your progress and check in with how your plans are unfolding. We have some ideas about how our work together might continue. And, we are interested to hear about how you would like to see the relationships among one another and with us evolve.
We have found our time with you to be a valuable learning experience. We truly hope that you have benefitted from the programming throughout the year and this past week.
